The Prophetic Vision
"About 33 years ago God gave me a very prophetic dream. It's one of those dreams that you never forget it often reflect on. In the dream there were beautiful mountains, but ones I have never seen before. I ended up in Haiti one day after that. And while I was praying with these beautiful people, I open my eyes and saw these were the same mountains I had seen all those years ago and I knew at that moment this is where I was suppose to be. It was part of his plan all along!

We are a small group of people who have come to realize by the grace of God, that this life is not about us. It's about furthering his kingdom and going out into the world to share his love. It is to reach those who do not know what True Love is. So many people are hurting physically, spiritually and financially. So many are depressed, confused, lonely, lost and desperate. They do not understand their purpose in life. But, as the scripture states in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, 'Declares the Lord', plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future".
We are people that are committed to prayer. We pray for Jesus to change things. We pray for Him to use us, to lead us, and to send us, so that through us others may come to see how special they are and know how much God loves them. At times it may not be so much what we say but rather what we do. We carry the love of Jesus in our heart but we are also His hands and feet. We go to serve and to make a difference. We bring hope for now and we bring hope of the life to come! One of the places we go to often is Haiti. We went prior to the earthquake and numerous times since. We have raised money to help build a school, a church, and we also paid for a number of homes to be built. We have paid for many children who never had the opportunity to go to school, to now go to school. We also have provided school supplies, backpacks, sneakers, shoes , socks, clothes, toothpaste, tooth brushes, soap, shampoo, lotion, food, lanterns, toys, bibles, hats, and medication. We have sent barrel upon barrel filled with things to help improve their lives. On one of our last visits we gave out medicine to over 900 adults and children to get rid of the worms in their bellies that could other wise kill them. Being a nurse in this poor area comes in very handy when helping people who are sick. Where they live there isn't any health insurance, and if they don't have the cash, the doctors and hospitals turn them away. Things are very different where we go. There is no running water or electricity for the most part. We have seen the children and adults alike drinking and bathing in the puddles from the rain water that is on the dirt paths. There aren't any garbage pails, garbage men, or bathrooms. Many people have no idea when their birthday is or how old they are.Where we go, most of the people live in tents. We stay with them. We sleep, eat, pray, play, laugh, and cry with them. There are children every where and most do not have any parents. They hustle in the hopes that they may eat a meal or two in a week. The average age in Haiti is 22years old. It is so sad. We also go to them teaching. We have been teaching them about hygiene which is really hard, due to the lack of clean water, but we are trying! We have been providing them with garbage bags and the importance of collecting the garbage and burning to slow the disease process. Slowly but surely we are making a diffference! Even when Im not in Haiti, I am in Haiti. I love these people. I think about them day and night. My life, our lives, have been forever changed by these precious people. We are their hope. And we come to you with hope in our heart that you will help us make a difference in their lives as well as those in the world that are in need of a special touch and true love.
